Proof by Majority

Mathematicians at Warwick University have recently made a dramatic breakthrough in the area of proof. With their new system of "proof by majority" it is no longer necessary to write long technical proofs, but to instead have a simple group discussion. With each member's opinion having equal weight it takes only moments to discover what seems the right thing in any given mathematical situation.

For example: Is G cyclic?
Tim: I reckon it could be.
Mark: Nah!
Greg: I agree with Mark.
Tim: Alright then, proof by majority.
